Preceding events should always help prevent similar ones from happening; in other words, the things we've learned in the past should always influence the decisions we make for our future. 

That is the basis for Precedent Prevention. Through copious amounts of research on two of the most significant nuclear disasters in history (Three Mile Island and Fukushima), each is compared and light is shed on the fact that the Fukushima incident could have been entirely avoided.
