world ocean's day outdoor installation
This is a project taken out of a design system in which we were designing for an event, in this case World Ocean's Day. The system was meant to explore how a specific theme could be integrated into the design system and how it could live as a brand. My topic was based on overfishing—in particular sharks that were being hunted for their skin, fins, and meat—and how they are portrayed as monsters and dangerous animals when in reality, they're animals with families and feelings just like us. My system was based on various caution signs that are used in modern society. Utilizing the shapes and colors of certain signs (school crossing, stop, and informational), this form was created to spread awareness and promote the event.
